On the other hand, Information Technology (IT) is about using computer technology to manage and process information. IT professionals install, implement, and maintain computer systems and apply them to businesses. This field is more about applying existing technologies to business problems and managing the systems that keep the business running24. IT work deals more with running an organization’s computers and ensuring the related networks, systems, and security are operational.
